Mak Autostar

The newly envisioned “Business Center” for MAK AUTOSTAR DOOEL transcends conventional commercial architecture by embracing a symbolic triad: earth, air, and water, as guiding principles. This conceptual framework, derived from the ethos of the Mercedes-Benz brand, grounds the building in a poetic interplay between nature and modernity, sustainability and precision. The footprint of the Business Center, measuring approximately 70 by 25 meters across its horizontal volumes, is poetically returned to nature through a verdant rooftop garden. Air, as an architectural element, finds expression through a system of internal atriums that punctuate the building with light and ventilation. These voids, totaling nearly 100 m², not only serve as passive environmental regulators but shape spatial identity. The fluidity of the Mercedes identity culminates with an immersive aquarium-reception. As a transparent divider between two volumes, water refracts light, animates the entry experience, and offers symbolic clarity. The duality of purpose, car showroom and leasable office spaces, required a spatial language that is both flexible and precise. Vertical communication is organized around a central staircase core inspired by the geometry of the Mercedes logo, anchoring each floor’s orientation and aesthetic rhythm. This core supports a dynamic foyer system, while auxiliary staircases and elevators ensure fluid movement across the building’s longitudinal span.
